We will NOT be placing students in homes, recruiting for homes, or asking anyone to stuff 35 middle school guys into a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom situation. ;)

We are actually asking for something more.

More intentional, more strategic, more fellowship.  We are asking your teenager to create their own Host Home this year. We want your teenager to invite saved friends, lost friends, and enemies to their home for one weekend.  An invitation and a place at the table set up by your teenager. Like every parent that has ever hosted any event, there is planning on who is coming, schedule, and intentional moments.

Our student ministry is asking you to encourage your teenager to Host a Home this year, invite the lost and broken, and prepare a table for them to share Jesus.

Host Homes FAQs

Can I be a Host Home and How do I do that?

Yes, we would be honored. All you need to do is send Sydney an email to let her know you are hosting your teenager's crew and how many you plan to have.

Can the student ministry put my teenager in a host home?

Unfortunately, we will NOT be putting anyone into a home or calling parents asking them to host a certain individual. The point of Host Homes this year is for each student to invite people to their own homes.

Do I have to let someone know I am hosting?

Technically no, but if you don’t let Sydney know you will miss something huge. Multiple times throughout the weekend we will be having POP-UP Parties at these registered Host Homes. For example, we randomly pick a name of a Host Home and show up with free Merch, Insomnia Cookies, or Pizza, etc… we may even show up with free scholarships to Beach Week.

What if my child gets left out or is not invited to a home?

The main point of Host Homes this year is for your teenager to invite people to their home. To Invite someone that wouldn’t normally come to something like this, someone going through a tough season, or someone that needs to meet Jesus. This year it’s not about “Whose house am I going to…It’s, who can I invite to my home.”

Can I reach out to someone about my situation?

Absolutely, you can call, text, or email our student pastor Caleb Waid.

Can I get some help with a college leader at my house for the weekend?

Yes you can. We will start compiling a list in February of college students that would love to come and lead at your home. We do not mind sharing that list with you so that you can call them and ask.

Can I get a church shuttle van to transport students?

These are always in high demand and we only have a few. First come, first serve and when they are gone they are gone.

If my teenager doesn't go to a host home will they be missing out on the weekend?

Many students will not be in Host Homes and will still have a full weekend with small groups after each session that we will break them up in, after parties for everyone, concerts, main sessions, breakout sessions, lunch, and much more. Every student will have one-to-one, one-to-few, and one-to-many relational experiences throughout the weekend.
