AIM CONFERENCE
ABIDE IN ME
JANUARY 21 | 9:00 - 11:45 AM
NORTH CAMPUS | CELEBRATION ROOM
Cost $20
“If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”
John 15:7
Charles Spurgeon was asked, “‘What is more important: prayer or reading the Bible?’ I ask, ‘What is more important: breathing in or breathing out?’”
Ladies, this is why we are offering an opportunity to focus in on the two priorities of Bible reading and prayer for 2023. Breathing in the Word and breathing out prayer.
Our conference will provide inspiration from Iva May on reading Scripture and from Leighann McCoy on our prayer life. We will also have an opportunity to worship with David and Natalie Askew. David and Natalie were invited by Pastor Kevin to a leadership event recently and we were so blessed by their love for the Lord, His Word, and worshiping Him.
Come with a heart ready to be encouraged, inspired, and challenged as we kick-off 2023 focusing on two important aspects of being a Spirit-filled woman of God.

“My passion is to make a difference for the kingdom, and I want to follow the Lord’s will for my life whether it is leading worship or sharing the love of Christ with a neighbor.“ - Natalie Askew
Natalie is a wife to David and mom to Esther, Vera, and Abram who has a love for worshiping through music. With her father being in ministry, singing in front of people has been a part of Natalie’s life since she was 3 years old. But when her relationship with the Lord became personal the Lord started birthing in her a new desire for ministry and serving Gods people. As an 18 year old, Natalie began traveling as an opening act for an up and coming Christian band. She met her husband, David, during this time and they were married in July of 2003.
After David and Natalie married, ministry became second nature. They began leading worship for a student ministry which eventually became a touring band. The band, Hello August, was starting to get offers to play and so began a new journey in ministry.
Two albums, 3 kids, and countless miles later, the Askew's felt a prompting to change direction. The Lord impressed upon David to change the name and tour under the name "Natalie Askew" as a solo artist.
In the months leading up this, David and Natalie experienced some life altering challenges when David's sister, Julie, unexpectedly died. Her death prompted David to finish a song Julie had started during a health struggle of their father. David and friend Lenny Leblanc finished the song which became Natalie’s first solo single, "Lay Them Down".
Since that time, Natalie has had the opportunity to travel and share their story of the faithfulness of God. Her passion to serve the local church is evident and inspiring when she leads. Natalie is a dynamic worship leader who is passionate about proclaiming the truth of Gods word. She looks forward to continued opportunities to travel and lead as the Lord provides.
